I liked your suggestion to ensure 6 feet of space around the swing set before installing it. My sister is thinking about getting a wooden swing set for her kids. I’ll be sure to recommend she have a lot of space around it so that they don’t get hurt.

In reply to Ashley. Look to the mfg of the pool and what they recommend. Some do, and some do not. They are the ones that ultimately warranty the pool based on their recommendations.

In reply to Tyler Myles. MDF, particle boards, plywood (with or without veneers) are not good choices for furniture outdoors in our opinion.

You can always have the chance to choose what type of wood you like to use when it comes to your furniture. If you want something that is sustainable and durable on its reasonable price then, you might want to consider some other woods like:

Beech, Ash, Mahogany, Oak, Maple, Walnut, Pine, Fibreboard, MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), Particle Board, Hardwood and Softwood Plywood, Veneer.

I love how you said that a water fountain is both a visual and an auditory element that you can bring to your home. It has always been a dream of mine to use moving water as part of my garden decor. Hopefully, since we just bought a new house we’ll have a little more liberty in what the backyard will look like and we can add some fountains or waterfalls in.

I like your tip to get a water and UV proof material. That way your furniture won’t be damaged by rain and sun. My wife wants to outfit our new patio, but I’ll have to tell her to take consideration for weathering.
